I normally stick to celeb-related stories on the blog, but seeing how my friend Katarina Visnevska thinks she’s a celeb, I thought I’d make an exception. Katarina plays the violin and will be performing with DJ William Galvin on Wednesday in Double A, Mercadito’s downstairs lounge, from 7:30-9 p.m.

To be honest, I know almost nothing about violinists. If you asked me to name my favorite violinist, I’d say Poindexter from “Revenge of the Nerds.” But it’s worth checking out Katarina and William’s performance if you’re looking for something different to do tonight.
